米国財団法人野口医学研究所（所在地：東京都港区、創立者・名誉理事 浅野 嘉久）が、ハワイ大学と2018年に設立したHedges-Izutsu-Asano Projectの資金を活用し、Humanism, Empathy, Social Justice and Global Health Symposium（Humanism Week）を開催したことを報告致します。
このイベントに於いて、当財団の創立者・名誉理事の浅野嘉久は、2月12日（水）に当財団の理念である“Compassion-Humanity and Empathy in Medicine-“をテーマに医学生や研修医に対して特別講演を行いました。
又、2月14日（金）には浅野 嘉久より、Humanismをテーマとした研究発表でTOPに輝いたDr. Chinに賞状と賞金500ドルを授与致しました。
当財団は、これまで30年間に亘りハワイ大学医学部との深い絆を築き上げて来ました。今後もベーシックフィロソフィーである“Compassion-Humanity & Empathy in Medicine-”を体現できるメディカルスタッフの教育と育成を支援して参ります。
